The Graaff-Reinet Museum | Graaff Reinet
The Graaff Reinet Museum was established in 1956 and houses a wonderful collection of Graaff-Reinet’s rich cultural and natural heritage. The buildings are unique cultural gems and an integral part of the town, making Graaff-Reinet one of the most historically significant sites in the country, and a great place to visit for those who cherish by gone memories.
It’s the fifth largest Province-aided museum in the Eastern Cape and is a hugely popular tourist attraction. The Military History Museum was establised in 2005 and is the most recent addition to the museum complex.
If you love history and delving into the past, come and experience something special from more than 100 years ago.
The Graaff-Reinet Museum displays the rich cultural and natural history and heritage of the Camdeboo area.
