Graaff Reinet – the gem of the Karoo is full of surprises. Not only is this historical town jam packed with national monuments, there are other attractions that lure customers in … the Pioneers Restaurant, which is part of the town’s history, full of intriguing photographs from the past.
They offer Ladies or Students Nights, Karaoke Evenings and a live Jazz group on Friday nights and absolutely deliciously simple food like lamb chops and sugared pumpkin and beans.
People who frequent the resturant will tell you that they keep coming back for their favourites.

- One of their most popular offerings is the complimentary bean soup with fresh home baked bread and butter while you wait for your main course to be prepared.
